Dr J.J. Rivet is Professor at the University of Montpellier
and is in charge of teaching basic biomechanics as well as biomechanics applied
to sport since 1985.
Dr. Rivet is a consultant for Postural and Sports
biomechanics at the Princess Grace Hospital of Monaco and, as such, involved in
the physical preparation of several resident, high level athletes
Since 1991, Dr. Rivet has been the biomechanics and physical
preparation consultant for the French PGA.
For 10 years he was consultant in the PGA European Tour for
questions concerning biomechanics of the golf swing.
Dr. Rivet is the author of numerous articles on the
biomechanics of the golf swing and the physical preparation of golfers of all
levels for Golf Magazine, Golf Europe Magazine, Golf Events, The Sport &
Medecine Journal and for the Golf Channel.
Since 2000, Dr. Rivet has directed the "Biomecaswing
clinics" for the Leadbetter Academies in France. This concept, which he created
thanks to his experience of the adaptation of the swing to the morphology of
the player during the PGA European tour, is applicable to players of all
levels.
Dr. Rivet is a consultant for Adidas, Taylor Made, LPG
Sports, Sidas and is a member of numerous scientific associations dedicated to
enhance performance in the sport including Human Enhancement Institute -
Hôpital Salpétrière Paris, French College of Medecine and
Foot's Surgery, Laboratory of Anatomy and Biomechanic - Université
Montpellier.
Dr. Rivet has a 2 handicap and is still holder of the course
record at St Donnat (France). |
